Overview

Font Smooth is designed to do its typography work in your browser. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the extension, activate Pro, contact support, or purchase a license.

Typography settings

Your Font Smooth preferences, such as selected fonts, typography values, presets, and website profiles, are primarily stored through the extension's browser storage. Font Smooth does not need to send the text of the pages you read to Zema Tools in order to apply typography changes.

License activation

If you activate Font Smooth Pro, the extension contacts the Zema Tools license service to activate and validate your entitlement. The service may process information needed to manage the license, such as the license key or a protected representation of it, activation status, browser installation identifier, timestamps, and technical request information needed for security and operation. Font Smooth does not collect passwords, PINs, security questions, or website login credentials.

Purchases

Font Smooth Pro purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Dodo Payments processes payment, billing, tax, checkout, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy practices. Zema Tools may receive order, customer, and license information necessary to deliver the purchased license, provide support, prevent fraud, and operate the service. Purchase information is handled outside the browser extension and is not collected from webpages by Font Smooth.

Support

If you email Zema Tools, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address and message contents. We use it to answer your request and provide support.

Website

This website is hosted using GitHub Pages. We do not intentionally add advertising trackers or behavioral advertising to this site. Hosting providers may process standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs as part of operating and securing their services.

Custom font files

Custom font files you add to Font Smooth are used by the extension for your typography setup. Zema Tools does not claim ownership of your fonts. You are responsible for using font files under appropriate licenses.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate the product, process purchases, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

Retention and security

We aim to keep service data only as long as reasonably needed for licensing, support, security, legal, and operational purposes. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable measures designed to protect the systems we operate.

Your choices

You can remove Font Smooth from your browser at any time. You may also contact us regarding privacy questions or requests relating to information held directly by Zema Tools. Payment information handled by Dodo Payments is subject to Dodo Payments' own processes, terms, and privacy practices.
